- Assist students in post-secondary planning such as college applications, scholarships and resume preparation
- Foster positive parent involvement
- Works closely with component district counseling departments
- Reviews each student's educational progress and career plans with each student individually
- Provides individual or group counseling assistance
- Assists students with attendance, academic, behavioral or adjustment problems, provide additional one on one counseling as needed
- Collects and reviews pertinent data for local and state reporting
- Coordinates tours, speakers, college visits, site visits
- Performs all other related duties as assigned by the CTE Principal
